From the BIG 5 Saudi Arabia to the Jobsite: Witnessing the Application of Diamond Core Drilling Technology
During the 2025 BIG 5 Saudi Arabia exhibition, the Corediam team had the opportunity to visit local customer and witness a real diamond core drilling project on-site. Instead of discussing products in meeting rooms, we went directly to the construction sites where our diamond core drill bits are used every day.
At the construction sites, the customer showed us several completed holes used for installing HVAC ducts, electrical conduits, and plumbing. The concrete walls required precise drilling with minimal vibration and smooth hole surfaces—critical requirements for modern construction projects.
What impressed us most was how professional contractors rely on wet diamond core bits to achieve precise drilling in reinforced concrete. By using water-cooled diamond core drill, operators can reduce dust, improve drilling efficiency, and extend core bits life, even when working on challenging materials.
This visit reminded us that product performance is proven not in catalogs, but on real jobsites. Every diamond core drill bit must maintain consistent cutting speed, durability, and reliability under actual working conditions.
